An intimate monthly gathering at the skip-a-beat lab. Unannounced performances, short conversations, and shared listening. By invitation. No recording, no documentation. Just the room.

An overnight programme at major cultural institutions, pairing live music with the museum's permanent and temporary collections. Produced for the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya and other partner venues.

A mesmerizing fusion of electronic music, Carnatic classical, lasers, and synth work by Vijay Thillaimuthu (Xenosine) and Hari Sivanesan. Mumbai debut, G5A Warehouse.
Commissioned Series
Conceptualised, curated, and produced by skip-a-beat for Red Bull India. A platform for homegrown avant-garde artists to premiere original music, with a podcast series hosted by Spryk featuring candid conversations with each debutante.

A 20-episode series from Audible Suno, hosted by music journalist Bhanuj Kappal, featuring unfiltered conversations with some of India's best hip-hop artists.

skip-a-beat presented the India leg of Elijah's 2026 tour, placing the London-based DJ and Metalheadz founder across club and festival contexts in Mumbai and beyond.

A live AV tour produced by skip-a-beat, placing Neural Natak's generative performance across Indian cities. Combining machine learning and live synthesis with traditional Natak theatrical framing.
Radio
skip-a-beat started as a radio show on Boxout.fm in 2018, curating the underground Indian electronic scene. That's where the label's editorial voice was built: what to amplify, who to platform, how to frame Indian electronic music for the world.
Residency
A residency for emerging AV artists in India, developed with the British Council and UnBox. Training practitioners in live visual music, mixing, and performance.
Installation
A site-responsive sound installation placed at Magnetic Fields. Visitors moved through a field of sound made visible: frequencies rendered in physical matter, patterns shifting in real time with the space.
Tour
A touring programme placing skip-a-beat artists in underground venues across India. The brief was simple: find the right room, book the right artist, and leave the rest to the music.
AV Showcase
A curated screening and listening programme surfacing deep-cut and archival AV works. Built around the idea that the most important pieces are often the ones that never reached a large room.

A high-energy showcase presenting new and commissioned visual music works in a club context. Raw, loud, and genre-fluid: the visual set treated as seriously as the music.

A programme of high-resolution experimental visual music, placing international and domestic AV practitioners in dialogue. X-Res Select ran as a dedicated strand within the EyeMyth framework.
Technology
An event exploring technology as a site of cultural production. Bringing together practitioners working at the intersection of computation, philosophy, and creative practice to ask where ideas come from and what tools shape them.
Exhibition
An immersive digital exhibition presented in Mumbai at the Museum of Solutions (MuSo), Lower Parel, from 19 April to 9 May 2024. Produced by the National Museum of Australia and Mosster Studio, it featured an epic, animated recreation of the indigenous Seven Sisters dreaming tracks.
